I have pictures that I'll get up as soon as I'm a little more caught up and organized. I plan on getting my Christmas shopping done this weekend. Then next Thursday again we leave for Cincinnati for a long weekend to celebrate Christmas with all our family there. For those of you that know me by now, I must continue with my lists and staying organized. That's the only way I can get everything done without getting too overwhelmed.
My mission for this Holiday Season is to appreciate and enjoy the season for what it should be. I'm letting my whole family know that I am limiting the gifts and the stress. The gifts that I do give are going to be useful and/or needed and not just something to fill a pretty box so the skirt under the tree is covered in piles. Not happening this year and I have such a good feeling about it. Christmas is about celebration and love of family, life and appreciation of what we have. Not about things! This is my mission statement for this wonderful Christmas and Holiday Season!

Welcome back, Nina! And I was just going to say, before you explained, that you are the most organized person I know. Glad to hear we'll get pictures soon. It's that time of year when we can get overwhelmed with tasks, so I'm glad you are cutting back, for your sake.
I missed hearing from you, Nina! I am happy you are back and sounds like you have beautiful winter weather! Stay warm and be safe on all your journeys!
I haven't yet started my Christmas shopping. But, now that the cold and snow are arriving, I'm getting 'in the mood' for it! Maybe I'll even put up the tree this week...
Oops, forgot to say 'welcome back', but I guess I did that already on FB. Still waiting for those 'grand' pics!
Hi Nina and welcome back. I sure missed you!! I'm doing the same thing this Christmas. It's so easy to lose sight of the true meaning of Christmas and instead get caught up in the materialism and commercialism of the holiday.
Hi Nina and welcome back! I'm doing the same thing this Christmas. It's so easy to get caught up in the materialism and commercialism of the holiday and forget the true meaning of Christmas. I'm so glad to not be working retail this year so I can really focus on enjoying my family!
Really glad you're back!
Hi Nina; Happy to hear you had a great time,,, can't wait to see some photos.... My shopping is just like yours,,, I feel the same as you do,,, it is less about the gift, and more about the reason,,,,, have a great weekend....
